Thank you for your interest in Glasbaustein-Lichtwerk.
As a small lighting studio based in Berlin, each lamp is crafted with care and often made to order. Below you will find all the details about processing, shipping, and delivery.


1. Processing Times

Ready-Made Lamps

These items are usually dispatched within 7-15 business days.

Custom or Made-to-Order Lamps

Custom porcelain mural lamps and bespoke pieces require additional production time.
Estimated production time will be communicated before the order is confirmed.
Please note that production time is separate from shipping time.


2. Shipping Locations

We currently ship from Berlin, Germany to:

  • Germany

  • European Union

If you would like delivery outside the EU, please contact us before placing your order and we will try to assist.


3. Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on destination, package weight, and shipping method.

Large or fragile items may require special packaging. This will be reflected in the final shipping price.


4. Delivery Times

Estimated delivery times:

  • Germany: 15 business days

  • EU countries: 15-30 business days

Delivery times may vary depending on the carrier, busy periods, weather, strikes, or customs checks.

We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers.


5. Order Tracking

Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information (if tracking is included with your shipping option).


6. Packaging & Fragile Items

Because our lamps are handmade and often consist of glass, porcelain, and metal:

  • All orders are packed securely with protective materials.

  • We aim to minimize plastic and use eco-friendly packaging whenever possible.

If your parcel arrives visibly damaged, please take photos before opening.


7. Damaged or Lost Packages

If your order arrives damaged:

  1. Contact us within 7 days of delivery

  2. Provide photos of the damage and packaging

  3. We will evaluate the case and arrange a replacement or refund according to EU consumer law

If a package is lost in transit, please reach out and we will work with the carrier to find a solution.


8. Customs, Duties & Taxes

For shipments within the EU, no customs duties apply.
For international orders (if accepted), the customer is responsible for any applicable customs fees, import duties, or taxes.


9. Incorrect Addresses

Please ensure your shipping address is entered correctly.
We are not responsible for delayed or lost shipments due to incorrect address information provided by the buyer.
